U.K.学生とのセッション、1Fスペースで開催

先週、ロンドンデザインチームSuperblueのロバートが学生たちを率いて「都市のデザインと文化」研究として、遥々海を越え「東京モノ探しツアー」にやってきました。

プロジェクトは、東京のホットスポットを訪問し、地元ロンドンで話題になりそうな「東京モノ」を探すいうもの。
プレゼンテーションは、5TANDASONIC（A.C.O.の1Fスペース）を貸切って行なわれ、東京の文化的ルール・交通の美学などの話題で多いに盛り上がりました。

プレゼンテーション後は、「デザイン」を共通言語にコミュニケーション空間として、A.C.O.スタッフ、参加した皆さんが交流を深めました。
人との交流は、アイデアのはじまりの形の1つ。今後もいろいろな交流の場を設けていきたいです。

U.K. Student Presentations

Last week 25 students and their lecturers from the U.K.'s "The Arts Institute at Bournemouth" design course visited Tokyo to experience the city's design and culture.

The group, led by London design team Superblue's Robert Frith, spent the week visiting Tokyo's creative hot spots, and taking-in the sites.

After a day touring the city in groups, the students converged at A.C.O.'s Gotanda event space to present their findings to the other students. Topics included Tokyo's excellent transportation system, smoking manner culture, and eye-catching shop facades.

To finish the evening, pizza and beer was served, providing the students a chance to talk to A.C.O. staff and find out about life in Tokyo's design industry.
